Sonny: Like I said, I can't lose you right now.
Alexis: You won't.
Sonny: What were you thinking coming here alone?
Alexis: I told you, I wanted to help.
Sonny: But why do you think you have to do anything?
Alexis: Because I can't help it. That's just the way that I am, and I wanted to do something because my heart is breaking for you. Because it's not right and because it isn't fair.
Sonny: Well, it's not your job to make it fair.
Alexis: If I could bring Carly back, I would. I want to be more hopeful for you.
Sonny: Alexis, Carly's coming back. Michael saw her last night at Bobbie's. He slipped out when nobody was looking. She was at the brownstone. He spoke to her. I know what you're thinking, but you're wrong. But I don't care what you or Jax or anybody else believes.
Alexis: And Jax knows?
Sonny: Well, he thinks that, you know, Michael was dreaming and that Bobbie and I are in denial, but I don't care what Jax thinks because I know this to be true.
Alexis: But why didn't she go inside?
Sonny: Probably, you know -- I don't know. Maybe she was disoriented from the accident.
Alexis: Not too disoriented to find her way to Bobbie's --
Sonny: It was instinct. She -- she knew that, you know, Michael would be with Bobbie. And, you know, the part of Carly that's a mother knew she had to get back to her son to let him know that she's all right.
Alexis: But -- if she went to Bobbie's house and she went to see her son and then she just -- she left? Why would she do that?
Sonny: You don't believe me, do you? You're convinced Carly's dead, right?
Sonny: You won't even admit to the possibility that Carly's alive? You think Michael just made up this whole story? Is that what you're saying?
Alexis: I don't think anything at all. I -- why are you looking at me like that?
Sonny: Because for the first time since I've known you, I think that you're lying to me.
Alexis: Lying to you? What -- what would I lie to you about?
Sonny: You know what? I'm going to take you back to my place. Maybe -- maybe you can watch the phone while I look out for Carly. Go.

Sonny: A.J. Is going to try to take advantage of this. He's probably filing to get the adoption overturned as we speak, but Carly's going to be found before it gets to court. I just don't want her to have to deal with it. So I need you to, you know, stay here and answer the door just in case a process server comes by with a writ or something. I don't know, do what you can to block it.
Alexis: Ok.
Sonny: Ok, I got to -- you should probably go, ok? So I'll call you whenever --
Alexis: Sonny? Please don't shut me out.
{ next scene }
Alexis: I know that this isn't about me and I -- I certainly didn't mean it to sound that way. I just want you to know that I want you to be able to talk to me about anything, because I'm in this with you for the whole ride.
Sonny: Alexis, you're the last person I'd shut out of anything, but this is about Carly. She can't be dead.
Alexis: My first year of law school I learned that reality has two sides, it may have more. Do I believe in miracles? I do. I just know that someone that I care about is in unbearable pain.
Sonny: She shouldn't have been driving, she's afraid of it. So why was she? Why did this happen?
Alexis: It was an accident.
Sonny: It -- she -- it was dark, she took a wrong turn. She shouldn't have been there. She should've been home safe. Why wasn't she?
{ next scene }
Alexis: She obviously wasn't out on a pleasure drive. Zander said that something upset her before she got there, so where was she before Zander's?
Sonny: At her club.
Alexis: Maybe she had a problem at the club.
Sonny: Not according to the staff.
Alexis: Ooh, well, then maybe it was something personal. Did she have any reason to be upset with you?
Sonny: I didn't talk to her that day -- you know, unless she's upset because I went to the Caribbean, I didn't call her. You know what? This is not only upsetting me, it's making me crazy, so can we just --
Alexis: Look, you'll ask Carly when you see her.
Sonny: I know this isn't easy for you, ok, after what we've, you know, been through the last couple of days. That --
Alexis: It's not important right now.
Sonny: Ok. I got to -- I got to go look for her, so --
Alexis: (finds a card beside the couch) Sonny?
Sonny: What? (reads the card) It's a birthday card from Michael.
Alexis: (afraid of the answer) How did it get here?
{ next scene }
Alexis: She must've dropped it off.
Sonny: The night of the accident. The night we were together.
Alexis: She was here?
