Alexis has found out that Taggert has been receiving a lot of tips in regards to Carly's disappearance - and that he's not able to follow up on all of them. She finds one, and decides to search it out herself.
She enters a building, and sees a blonde woman standing on the other side of the room, her back to her.
Alexis: Carly?
Woman: (turns around; it's not Carly) What are you staring at?
Alexis: I was looking for someone. She looks -- she looks like you. She's your height, she's thin, she has blond hair.
Woman: And you thought she'd be here? What, on vacation?
Alexis: She was in a car accident and she's missing.
A man enters the building behind Alexis.
Woman: Now you're both missing.
Man: You took a wrong turn, lady. Your car break down?
Alexis: (nervously; she knows she's in a bit of trouble now) No, it didn't.
Man: So you came down here to take a walk on the wild side.
Alexis: I was looking for someone.
Man: You found him.
Alexis: Could you please get out of my way?
Sonny: (enters) You heard the lady.
Man: Mr. Corinthos. (his menacing demeanor falls away) This -- this is just a misunderstanding.
Sonny: Yeah, yeah, it was. We're looking for my ex-wife. Maybe you heard.
Man: Yeah. I'll keep an eye out.

Alexis: I was at the station, and Taggert had a lead on Carly.
Sonny: What were you thinking?
Alexis: He wasn't going to do anything about it.
Sonny: Taggert went by Bobbie's to give her an update. He told me where you went. What if he hadn't been there? Then what?
Alexis: What, I'm just going to let a lead just go? I -- I can't do that. She's out there, she's missing. I know what she means to you and I'm your friend.
Sonny: Yeah, I know.
Alexis: I wanted to help.
Sonny: But this is not the way to do it.
Alexis: The police weren't going to do anything, not for hours, maybe even longer.
Sonny: You still don't get it, do you?
Alexis: I am going to do whatever I can do until Carly's found.
Sonny: First of all, Carly is coming back. And I'm going through a lot of stuff right now, and I can't lose you, too.
