See the Screen Caps: "Just a Dream - Really!

Transcribed by Laura S.

Sonny: Are you okay?

Alexis: I'm okay. (thinks to herself "How could I be okay? I just dreamed I kissed you.")

Sonny: Alexis...

Alexis: I'm fine (she grabs her robe)

Sonny: You don't, you don't look fine. (he leans over her on the bed, then sits down beside her)

Alexis: (she starts pulling on her robe and thinks to herself, "Oh my God, he's sitting on the bed. Don't let him sit on the bed. Go stand in the corner and button your shirt. What's wrong with you? What's wrong with me?" Sonny reaches out to put the back of his hand against her forehead, then he touches her head with his fingers. She smiles at him nervously. "He's touching me. His hand is kind of smooth and, and strong. Stop it. What am I saying?")

Sonny: You're flushed.

Alexis: (thinks to herself, "No kidding. This is ridiculous. You can't just sit here and let him touch you. Move away, get up, do something.")

Sonny: Are you sure you're all right?

Alexis: I'm fine, it was, it was just a dream.

Sonny: I know how that works. What was it about?

Alexis: (thinks to herself, "Smooth one Ms. attorney, now what?")

Scene fades to black

Alexis walks down the stairs and Sonny follows her. She picks up the bowl of popcorn from the table, fumbles with the lamp before she finally gets it turned on, then walks over to the couch.

Sonny: Was it like a dream or a nightmare or something?

Alexis: (thinks to herself, "I kind of liked it, that's what's so terrible.") It depends on how you look at it. It was startling more than anything else.

Sonny: It might help if you talk about it.

Alexis: (thinks to herself, "Is he doing this on purpose?") I'm fine, really. It was just a dream. If we, if we analyze it, we're going to be up all night.

Sonny: Why's that? (as he sits on the couch beside her)

Alexis: (thinks to herself, "What's wrong with you? You're an attorney, redirect, get him off the subject.") You know how dreams are.

Sonny: No, how are they?

Alexis: They're symbolic.

Sonny: Um-hmm.

Alexis: Allegorical. What happens in a dream doesn't really happen or it's not supposed to happen.

Sonny: Fine.

Alexis: And it's certainly not what will happen.

Sonny: Umm.

Alexis: (starts babbling) You know, like if you're a vegetarian and you, and you dream about eating meat. It's not really about the meat, I mean, it's about something else, because vegetarians don't dream about meat. Or someone could use the word beetle to you , like the insect and you dream about John Lennon, although it's not really John Lennon, unfortunately John Lennon's not with us anymore or you dream about kissing someone. (looks aghast at her own comment. Then thinks to herself, "Objection, your honor.") And it's because you forgot to brush your teeth.

Sonny: Seriously, have you seen the doctor about the asthma?

Alexis: Not yet.

Sonny: Because you know, the dreams could be the same thing. It all comes from anxiety or something.

Alexis: Let's just forget about it.

Sonny: I know exactly why you're having these dreams.

Alexis: (nervously) Really?

Sonny: Yeah.

Alexis: Why is that?

Sonny: Well, I mean, you know, you're worried about, um, (Sonny lays his arm along the back of the couch, just slightly behind Alexis and she becomes distracted) Alexis, Alexis...

Alexis: Yes.

Sonny: Are you listening to me?

Alexis: (meets his intense gaze) I'm listening.

Sonny: You're worried about your sister, Kristina and you know, Helena and Stefan and your subconscious is probably twisted up like a pretzel.

Alexis: My conscious is very well aware of what my subconscious is thinking, thank you.

Sonny: You know something, you, (Sonny puts his hand lightly on Alexis' shoulder, further distracting her) you really need to relax. I have great people on Kristina, at the Quartermaine's and I...

Alexis: I just...

Sonny: And I'm here with you.

Alexis: I just don't know how to thank you for everything that you're doing.

Sonny: I'm, I'm sure that I'll think of a way. (Takes his hand from her shoulder to reach for some popcorn in the bowl on her lap and misses her surprised look at his statement)

Alexis: What is that supposed to mean?

Sonny: What is wrong with you?

Alexis keeps eating popcorn without replying to his query.

Scene fades out

Alexis: I'm sorry (she stands and dumps the bowl of popcorn on the floor) Oh, I'm a little jumpy.

Sonny: You know what? Why don't you go upstairs, go to sleep.

Alexis: I will, I will.

Sonny: Go on.

Alexis: I, I, I'm sorry, I'm such a lunatic.

Sonny: I'm used to it. Sweet dreams.

There's a knock at her door.

Alexis: Would Johnny knock?

Sonny: Stay here. (through the door, asks) Who is it?

Cop: PCPD.

Sonny: (opens the door, asks Cop) What's this about?

Cop: Michael Corinthos, Jr.?

Sonny nods.

Alexis: (to Cop) Have you been able to locate Stefan Cassadine?

Cop: I'm afraid not.

Alexis: What about his business associate, the one that assaulted Detective Capelli?

Cop: I'm not working the Cassadine case, ma'am. I'm her for Mr. Corinthos. The commissioner's requesting your cooperation with the Sorel investigation.

Sonny: Well, tell him to contact me during business hours. I think I have an opening (rubs his face) the first of the month.

Cop: You need to come with me now.

Alexis: I'll get dressed and go down to the station with you.

Cop: We won't be going down to the station.

Sonny: Who says I'm going anywhere?

Cop: The commissioner instructed me to tell you that if you didn't comply, he'd interrogate Mrs. Corinthos without you.

Sonny: Carly. What's this about?

Scene fades out.
